However, this leads to HDR being turned off, as it is only available in exclusive full-screen. The only way I found to create a non-stretched image was to turn off G-Sync, and running the game windowed. I have Screen Size set to "Auto" in the monitor menu which should maintain the aspect ratio instead of stretching the content. What should happen is that the new resolution(2560x1440 in this case) and the aspect ratio(16:9) should be set and black borders should be added on the sides of the monitor. It will let me set my the ratio to 21: is the highest resolution it will go too I have adjusted Hz, Fullscreen vs windowed. I have tried adjusting my settings in every way possible and CAN NOT get it to set my resolution to go above 1920 x 1080. Multiple sizes available for all screen sizes and devices.
